FISA Anti-Terror measure being stalled by Democrats for Political Gain

Thursday, March 13th, 2008

The FISA Anti-Terror measure being stalled by Democrats for Political Gain, & it all comes down to scratching the backs of ambulance chasing Trial Lawyers like the kind Presidential dopeful, err.. I mean “hopeful” John Edwards used to be. Follow the money, & it leads right back to Democrat Campaigns.

Wiretap law is supposed to protect the U.S. by discovering and foiling terrorist operations. Congressional Democrats seem to think its purpose is to line the pockets of their trial lawyer supporters, so that some of that money will eventually filter it’s way back into their campaign coffers.

House Democrats want to put in place a terrorist surveillance law that puts exorbitant lawyers’ fees before the safety of Americans, & punishes communications companies for co-operating with Federal authorities on anti-terror surveillance. In other words, take away their immunity from frivolous lawsuits, so that Democrat’s trial lawyer campaign supporters can sue them for loads of $$$. People like House Nancy Pelosi (D) & Steny “stenchy” Hoyer (D) Rep. are selling your safety our for campaign money, while they drive around in armored limos & with police escorts. Nice Huh?

It’s time for America to vote out the abusers in the House of (currently) Non-Representatives. They don’t care about us, they are proving that they only care about their power. The Senate Democrats are willing to go along with the Bush approved version of the FISA Bill because it makes sense for the country, & I applaud them for putting the people first, but the extremists in the House like Pelosi, are more interested pay back than the business of the people.

It’s sad, it’s dangerous, & it’s apparently not bothering them to do it, because FISA is expired, & they are still fighting to get their way. Vote them out, they are reckless endangerers of all US citizens. ~ Dan Lee
