They can try to call it comedy, they can excuse it as a “joke”, but what they can’t do is erase the pain they’ve caused to thousands of young girls, & now adult women around the world who have actually been molested by their own pedophile fathers in reality. You know, that place that SNL’s producers & writers never live in?
With the following ill advised line:
One reporter in the skit asks (referring to Todd Palin): “What about the husband? You know he’s doing those daughters. I mean, come on. It’s Alaska.”
Something that most of the media has ignored, is that this was more than an incest reference (which is bad enough.) Palin’s daughters, Bristol, Willow and Piper, are 17,14 & 7 years old respectively. The comment made in the so called SNL “skit” stated that: “You know he’s doing those daughter(s)”. That is plural, thus inferring that Todd Palin is not only engaging in incest, but that he’s raping his own children.
Saturday Night Live has mocked one of the most horrific crimes that can be committed against a child, under the guise that they were “making fun of biased reporters.” Unfortunately for them, they have become the biased reporters by making a comparison that is socially unacceptable, libelous, & certainly hurtful to the Palin family, & anyone who has been a victim of child molestation.
This was not funny in any way. Here’s what it was: Selfish, Libel, Slanderous, Thoughtless, Disgusting, Perverse, Hateful, Viscious, Hurtful, & therefore Un-American.
It is also unfortunately one of a long series of vicious attacks by the Main Stream Media, & media in different forms. SNL, you tried to smear the Palin family by veiling it as “comedy”, but the joke is on you. Nobody is buying it. I have in the past enjoyed much of the comedy on Saturday Night Live, but now that it’s become an immoral cesspool & an unapologetic political attack machine for the left, it will never be on my TV screen again. In light of SNL comedian Tina Fey’s recent statement about Palin, we can get an idea of the spirit behind her so called “comedy impression” of Sarah. Fey recently said the following:
“I want to be done playing this lady Nov. 5, so if anyone could help me be done playing her on Nov. 5, that would be good for me..”
Oh, & then there’s Al Franken’s recent “contributions” to SNL. That’s not too much of a conflict of interests huh?

Meanwhile SNL has failed to mention Barack Obama’s children, but we know that won’t happen. That would be racially insensitive, & completely inappropriate. Well, unless you are the children of a Republican apparently..
See the evidence while you can. As mentioned above, SNL has sicked its lawyers on Youtube asking them to move ONLY THIS VIDEO, while leaving all others alone. You’ll also notice that this skit mocks Alaska in general, with comments about a lack of psychiatric care in the state, infers that everyone is a gun nut, & the list goes on..
As an American I have to say that I’m deeply distraught by the behavior I’ve seen from the Main Stream Media, not only this week with their shameful attacks against VP nominee Sarah Palin & her family, & even the 18 year old boyfriend of their daughter. It’s a trend that’s worsened over the last couple presidential elections.
Even beyond their blatant & biased interference into the political process, it’s become apparent to me that America needs to “clean house” with regard to the media’s corruption & bias, because they are an essential service to the community. In an age when people rely on accurate information to make what can sometimes be life or death decisions, there’s no room for constantly inserting extremely biased opinions into news that is essential to the functioning of our society, yet the Main Stream Media has increasingly blurred the lines between commentary, opinion, & hard facts.
The coverage of Hurricane Gustav was a good example of how badly the media wanted a bigger disaster. The media politicizing of the last Hurricane “Katrina” clearly caused reporters like Geraldo Rivera to run around New Orleans holding a wind gauge, & seemingly hoping for the worst. They even risked their lives to bring us images we could do without, rather than have a camera man or a news reporter needlessly killed. The reporting needed only to assist in getting people the facts, but once again it took the usual foray into reminding everyone that everything that goes wrong is always Bush’s fault. I guess the LA times was too busy chasing Britney Spears & Lindsay Lohan to talk about the whole story, as there’s no mention in the story of the two biggest fumblers in the Katrina debacle, N.O. Mayor Ray Nagin & then Governor Kathleen Blanco. It took for the old standby Reader’s Digest to show this news paper who’s supposed to report the whole story, just how it’s done.
The line between the Mainstream Media, Hollywood, & Supermarket tabloids has been seriously obscured, & there seems to be no end to the over dramatization of our news in sight. But Wait!
One guy that seems to be trying to correct the course of the media on this issue, is Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly, who’s ratings have just about doubled compared to the extremely leftist biased equivalent of his show over on MSNBC, Kieth Olbermann’s “Countdown”. If there’s any hope for the news, it may be indicated in the comparative ratings of these two shows. O’Reilly recently took MSNBC to task for the blatant & truly childish cheap shots taken at Gov. Palin, on the day her VP candidacy was announced. We highlighted that exchange here.
Maybe people ARE in fact getting tired.. The other day I read a report on one of the major Cable News websites that said 7-8 people had been poisoned to death in a chemical accident (was removed within minutes, & is nowhere to be found now), then it became two, & then it became no people died, but just injuries. All in the name of beating the competition to get the story out first. It didn’t matter if it was right, it just needed to be first. The result? Families of the factory workers possibly traumatized, & expecting that they might to have to go identify a relative’s body. Members of the public frightened unnecessarily by overblown coverage.
The bottom line is this is only one of thousands of examples of media butchery. It’s the kind of software company philosophy that we don’t need in the media. Just put it out, & we’ll patch it up later if it doesn’t work right. That doesn’t work so well when the end result is causing a public panic, influencing an election with misinformation or flat out lies, or just plain misinforming the public on issues that effect their lives.
It need to stop, & it needs to stop ASAP.
Contact your local & national media outlets when you see bias, unfairness, & inaccuracy in stories that are supposed to be hard news, & not political commentary or opinion. Ultimately only the people can keep the media accountable, by steering away from sensationalists with an agenda, & hair trigger reporters with no regard for truth.
AFTER a lecture to the Marine Memorial Association last week, a reporter thrust a mike toward me and asked if I thought I should be tried for war crimes for my columns in The Post supporting our military.
The reporter - who avoided revealing what outlet he was with - thought he was being wonderfully clever, but what fascinated me about the silly encounter (it was in San Francisco, after all) was how unintentionally revealing it was about the shameless hypocrisy of the left.
Do you ever wonder if most of the way far lefitst freaks in the Main Stream media are “reporters” because they are too uncreative to create news themselves? Maybe they have to wait for someone else to say something worth commenting on, before they become relevant themselves? Just food for thought..

Let me answer this for you Arriana, since you’re struggling with the obvious.
The media has “internalized the story”, because the story is INTERNAL to the media’s own corrupt bias.
It’s kind of like asking a Cancer patient why they talk about their Cancer instead of just refusing to believe it exist, & refusing treatment.
The reason why the “Obamessiah 2008 Rock On!” tour is now starting to get negative reactions, is because it’s quite simply gayer than a Maypole in June to run around the world like Mr.light loafers, groveling for international support under the arrogant presumption that you’ve already wrapped up enough support at home.
Oh, & one more thing Ms. Huffington. You asked: “Why is Obama’s popularity with our allies a bad thing?” It’s a bad thing because he’s not a statesman any more than “House” is actually a brilliant physician, but rather he’s posing as one, & acting like a little kid who just won chance to visit the Willy Wonker candy factory.
Of course Arriana will undoubtedly point to the fact that people like Chavez & officials in the Palestinian terror group Hamas have now “gone neutral” in their support of Obama. But what she won’t mention is the, “No dummies, not yet, not yet! don’t support us yet! At least not publicly!” phone calls that the Obama campaign undoubtedly made to the untraceable contacts in the outer fringes, & representatives of these parties.
Luckily there are people out there that can help Arriana Huffington to “get a clue” when it comes to the truth about her new Messiah. He’s a fraud, & no “Rock Star Tour”, or panicked sounding little OP ED she writes about it is going to change that. All she’s really doing is re-enforcing the public’s notion that Democrats can’t handle the truth. I think I smell fear in the smoke Arriana is blowing..

It’s incredible to me that not one, but two or more national news agencies were unprofessional & incompetent enough to run this smear story against the United States Marines.
The video (which was promptly removed from the You Tube website after this story was posted on Foxnews.com) alleges that the puppy in the video is thrown off of a cliff by a Marine.
After the sensation of the Michael Vic story, I would think that these so called “journalists” would be intelligent enough to see through this “Berkeley City Productions” style stunt to further slander the Marine core, but apparently the Journalism gene pool’s tainted history is really beginning to catch up with us as a Nation. Liberalism is indeed a mental disorder, & genetics may play a role, after all.
Before the video has even been confirmed, media idiots are already stopping people the street to interview them, in an obvious effort to fan the flames of this completely unconfirmed story. Note that in news reports, they go to people in the animal humane society, & stop dog owners on the street to tell them about the story, then ask their opinions in absence of giving them all the fact. Why? Because they don’t have them to give!
To me, at this stage of the so called “story”, what I see is an unconscionable media frenzy over what could amount to a lot of ratings $$$ if they can drum this up into another Michael Vic saga.
The media in our country is completely out of control, & needs to be held accountable for slandering & assaulting the very people who protect their right to operate without any threat of violence.
Free Speech does not cover the act of slander, & by airing an unconfirmed story like this, they known exactly what they are doing. Sure they can say that they mentioned that it’s “unconfirmed”, but they know that most people only hear that a puppy was thrown over a cliff.
Even if that turns out to be true, I will stand by the fact that airing this story the way they did was wrong, because as usual, they did it in absence of all the facts. Some agencies even cut out the part where the puppy was thrown, to save us all from any “trauma”. Hmm, allegations with the evidence removed? Show me the evidence, I don’t need your censorship!
Interesting approach to reporting too, since they will often show people being shot in the head or the like on video, & just post a warning before hand. When will the sheeple stop listening to these news outlets who have lost their soul?
Will we ever have sanity in our media again? If there’s any hope, it’s time to run the liberal swine out of the business. They are liars, deceivers, & they have no conscience.
Michelle Malkin has posted some of the already over the top violent diatribes attributed to Liberal crackpots, against the supposed soldiers in the video. The evidence isn’t even in on whether it was a stuffed animal or not, & they are calling for bloodshed & beheadings Danish Cartoon style.. It will be interesting to find out why the video was removed from You-Tube for a “Terms of Use Violation.” My guess is that we’re seeing a big hoax, & that there will be no apology later from Faux News..
I don’t particularly like John McCain or his politics, but I find the New York Times reoccurring habit of making up news to serve their political agendas particularly loathsome & disturbing.
This is not the first time a “less than verifiable or credible” story of a personally smearing nature has come out of the New York Times.

I personally think that if the allegations made about John McCain in Yesterday’s NYT story are completely untrue as McCain & even his campaign staff have said, (they were cited as sources in the story) he should attempt to sue them into the next century for slander.
