This is an update to this story last week about a mother who died in a car crash, & then had her wedding rings stolen from her at the Hospital.
ATLANTA — A social worker accused of stealing wedding and engagement rings from a woman who died at Grady Memorial Hospital surrendered to police Thursday.
Tacoma Jawara, 54, was charged with stealing the rings that belonged to 35-year-old Katherine Armstrong who died in the emergency room after a crash on I-85 near Flat Shoals Road. Full Story Here

You know, if this isn’t the kind of story that makes you want to put your fist through your laptop/computer or TV? I don’t know what would be… It’s not bad enough her 1 year old child will only have pictures to remember her by, but then they lose her wedding rings?
Doesn’t the family of an accident victim have enough pain & grief to deal with, without this kind of negligence or larceny being perpetrated against them?
The hospital should launch a full fledged investigation of it’s own, as well as whatever the police do. I understand accidental loss of property happens, but I have a funny gut feeling there’s maybe more to this than that. In any case, the Hospital should spend as much money as needed to find out. Not because It’s necessarily their fault, but just because it’s the right thing to do in this case.

We’ve all heard the horror stories. The worst & most embarrassing one I’ve ever seen was this DEA agent doing a Gun safety class in front of adolescent School Children. He makes a HORRIFIC misjudgment in handling a weapon that has a full clip in it, & especially in the presence of children.
The Result? He was lucky. He only shoots himself in the thigh, & the bullet stays there & thank God does not further injure him or the children & other adults in the class.
Watch the video below, & how the children unfortunately used better judgment than the officer who partially tried to save face in the situation. He misguidedly tries to keep from alarming the kids further by picking up a rifle, & trying to foolishly go on with the presentation. The kids tell him to put it down! Good call kids!
Do I feel bad for him? Yes of course I do. However he broke several important rules that are absolutely not to be broken in regard to gun safety. I think unfortunately he got a little too caught up in his dramatic approach to gun safety, & forgot about the gun safety part in the process.
1. On the video, he stated himself that “This is an unloaded weapon. This is an empty weapon.”
he then goes & gets gets a “nothing in my hat, nothing up my sleeve” type confirmation from an assistant asking if it’s an empty weapon, the assistant concurs, but probably only looks in the chamber. The officer does NOT clear the weapon himself by ejecting the magazine, as well as looking into the chamber. As a result, when he locks the slide back, & then releases it, he unwittingly cycles a live round from the magazine into the chamber. Again, He did not treat the gun as loaded, & check both the magazine & chamber himself before handling it.
2. He’s handling a Glock 40 cal, (likely a model 22 or 23 with no thumb safety lever) & not the best weapon to bring into a classroom or demonstration.
3. There should have been no ammunition present in any weapon on his person, or he planned to un-holster for any demonstration. Any weapon he planned to demonstrate with, should have been void of a magazine & had the slide locked back at all times, or disabled with the firing pin completely removed, & devoid of a magazine or ammunition. It would also have been handled very minimally, & placed on a table with the muzzle in the most currently safe direction.
4. Though he eventually points the gun down to possibly put it away (not sure), somehow he gets his finger on the trigger, or gets the trigger hung on something. The gun discharges, & he’s hit in the thigh with what is mostly likely a very damaging hollow point bullet. Hollow point bullets are designed to inflict the maximum damage, without exiting the intended target & possibly injuring an innocent bystander. Also notice that in the commotion, his female assistant hands him the rifle at one point, & has the muzzle pointed at the man standing against the wall!
Now, I believe this officer in his heart of hearts truly wanted to teach Gun safety to these children this day, & had nothing but good intentions for being there. Unfortunately he ended up giving an even better example than was necessary, or safe, by forgetting some of his own training.
I recently took my Handgun Safety course with The Academy for Self Protection in Joelton Tennessee. My instructor was Rob Corcoran. Rob is a former USAF Combat Arms Instructor and Security Police Officer. Rob currently teaches all Handgun Carry classes for A.S.P. He is an NRA certified Pistol Instructor and a Tennessee State certified Pistol Instructor.
Rob’s training skills were very clearly & well defined throughout the 8 hour course. During the training, He always got us to the point of the matters at hand, while at the same time keeping things light enough with a perfect balance of humor, gun trivia, & mechanical composition, without being too distracting from the serious nature of gun safety as a whole. He warned us ahead of time, that if he repeated something several times, it was probably going to be both highly important, & also on the written exam, or part of our firing range test. He covered everything from good/bad gun handling practices, to good/bad guns & ammunition by themselves, & the types that we may encounter in the real world.
Rob’s approach was not only to make sure that we knew how to fire a gun safely, but also that once the bullet left the barrel, there are potentially serious consequences, both legally & morally. His course also covered tips on being a more controlled shooter, which is also important to safety, & limiting your targets to only intended ones.
While my impression on his feelings about handguns was that he’s clearly an enthusiast, I felt that he made it glaringly obvious that a gun is not like a golf club or ball. When you go to the range with a gun & make a mistake, it could mean more than someone getting a concussion from a golf club that’s slipped out of your hand, or a wayward ball. It could mean instant death for you or an innocent bystander, or lives changed forever, & he made that responsibility very clear in his course, by covering Tennessee law on the use of firearms for self defense.
After having completed this course, I can tell you that as soon as he saw someone holding a weapon up with the magazine still in it like in the video above? He would have said: ” Clear that weapon immediately by removing the magazine, & I don’t want any ammunition in this classroom. Period”
He has signs in the classroom to remind everyone.
If you’re thinking about taking a handgun safety course in the middle Tennessee area, I highly recommend Rob & his Academy of Self Protection. I don’t see how the course could have been any better to be honest. After taking it, I’m only reasonably confident that I’ll never have an accident. I say “reasonably”, because one of the sentiments Rob was able to get across was to “never get cocky or overconfident handling a firearm.” The gun is always loaded, period. No exceptions.
Founded on the web circa 25-Apr-05 The so called American Hunters & Shooters Association is a dishonest organization, that curiously popped up right after the 2004 Presidential election loss of the Democrats. This Johnny come lately organization has been critical of the NRA, despite their glaringly obvious lack of tenure or credibility on Gun rights or Hunting issues.
One needs not look farther than their “Who We Are” to find the inconsistency & dishonesty of this organization. In this section of their website, they make the following statements. A simple look at the survey they refer to, reveals that the survey said no such thing about Assault Rifles or Bullets. I suppose they are counting on people’s laziness in not actually reading the survey. That’s a typical elitist liberal response, & usually their downfall incidentally. Contrary to their delusion, REAL gun rights advocates are concerned with more than chewing tobacco & 4 wheel drive trucks. We do in fact read between the lines.
According to a 2003 Field & Stream National Hunting Survey, sportsmen overwhelmingly support reasonable gun safety proposals. Moreover, an overwhelming majority of hunters support proposals like background checks to purchase guns, keeping military style assault weapons off our streets and the elimination of cop killer bullets.
There a was only actually one question on the survey that was relevant in any way to the claims made above in the “Who We Are” section of the American Hunters & Shooters Association website.
15. Do you consider assault-style rifles to be legitimate sporting guns?
67% No
33% Yes
As you can see, this question & it’s responses have NOTHING to do with getting assault rifles off of the street. The question only addresses the relevancy of the assault rifle as a sporting gun.
Nowhere in the survey are the readers asked whether or not the assault rifle is a legitimate self defense gun, yet on the website, they try to spin the question & response to mean that Hunters don’t think anyone should own an assault rifle. They were asked about it for hunting, not self defense.
This website/organization is clearly & deviously bending the truth for their own political agenda.
Furthermore, nowhere in the survey were “Cop Killing” bullets mentioned, or asked about.
Secondly, if we were as citizens eventually subject to a government agency who went completely bonkers, why would we want them to be the only ones with access to armor piercing rounds?
This would also of course be a completely fascist position for any Gun owner/advocate to take, because the second amendment guarantees us the right to own any type of rifle, or ammunition we want. Whereas the Second Amendment includes the phrase; “being necessary to the security of a free State“, it’s clearly addressing our right to have sufficient firepower to protect ourselves against the rise of a fascist Government.
The authors of this website are trying to slowly disarm us, by giving you a couple Hershey kisses, & then stealing your King sized Hershey Bar (with almonds), while you sleep.

I have just given you a clear example of this organization twisting, no correction MANGLING, the truth, in the most crafty ways imaginable. On certain parts of their website, they claim that they do not agree with the Hand Gun prohibitions in D.C. & Chicago ect.. This too is a crafty tactic. Why? Let me explain.
They know that hand guns are essentially ineffective beyond 50 feet or so, (150 ft. if you’re weapon uses the higher velocity rounds, & you have a horseshoe up your @$$) whereas an assault rifle has an effective range of as far as 2000 feet. So if they concede everyone the right to own a hand gun, then they could keep the really effective weapons in the hands of the Government, (assault rifles) & out of the hands of the people. What are we supposed to do, defend the republic against a rogue government/regime with pistols against these weapons? Oh that’s rich…
This is a very devious & crafty strategy, especially knowing how the handgun free zones are turning out to be a joke (VT shootings,D.C./Chicago gun crime rate still high, a Supreme Court defeat looming for Anti-hand gun proponents.) They know they are about to lose the handgun battle on constitutional grounds, but now they are (almost) ok with that, because they know you can’t fight a rogue Police state with handguns, & after all, it’s mostly inner city people they don’t really care about killing themselves with them. These are voters they can replace at the current child illegitimacy rate in their minds. So now they are trying to convince people that assault rifles are bad, (as if they bounce around on their stock & randomly murder people on their own.)
DO NOT be Fooled. Do your family a favor, & own an assault rifle, before these nuts have a chance to deprive you of your right to self protection through their cloak & dagger schemes. Also, keep your membership with the NRA, or get one. There’s a reason behind why these idiots keep attacking the NRA. They are trying to undermine the REAL GUN RIGHTS ADVOCATES.

Obviously the Chicago “Gun Ban” still doesn’t mean anything to criminals, & it isn’t helping to stem the tide of violence in the city. Instead of only evil or morally confused people having guns, responsible citizens should have them also, that way the criminals never know who will take them down if they try to shoot anyone else in the citizenship. We know that criminals will always find a way to get guns, just like drugs. Even legal drugs are abused by a few, compared to the millions who use them for their intended treatments or purposes. Should we ban all pain killers then? Make good law abiding people suffer severe pain, because a few idiots abuse prescription drugs?
A half baked quote from The Superintendent of the Chicago Police:

Well that’s about half right… Guns don’t go off without a homicidal idiot behind them. How about cleaning out the gangs?
Like I’ve said before, this just proves that politicians have been on the wrong track with imposing gun bans. These handgun bans haven’t done anything to stop crime in D.C., or in Chicago, & that’s now become an irrefutable fact.
When only criminals have guns, only innocent people get shot or victimized. That is an injustice, & a crime against humanity in of itself. That is also why our forefathers instituted the second amendment.
In fairness, Superintendent Weis eventually went on to touch on the real crux of the matter:
“We’ve got to get children back into being children,” Superintendent Weis said. “Not cold-blooded killers. Law enforcement cannot replace parents. Parents have to take a very aggressive role.”
That’s right Chicago.. If you take every gun off the planet, & have bad parental guidance for children, they will sharpen sticks, plastic, & butter knives to stab each other to death with if they have to.
Barack said then:
Years of abandonment by successive Clinton and Bush administrations have made the people of small town Pennsylvania so “bitter” they “cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them”.
Barack says now:
“I am amused about this notion of elitist, given that when you’re raised by a single mom, when you’re on food stamps for a while when you were growing up, you went to school on scholarship….”
“So when somebody makes that argument, particularly given that I spent my entire life working with workers, low-income communities to try to make people’s lives a little bit better, then that’s when you know we’re in political silly season.”

P.S. I will personally admit that I am an “elitist” of sorts, because I believe that Conservatives are far superior in almost every way to Liberals. And later that month:

And cracking down on the various loopholes that exist in terms of background checks for children, the mentally ill. We can have reasonable, thoughtful gun control measure that I think respects the Second Amendment and people’s traditions.”
Then on the Anniversary of the VT shootings. (You know the one wear the students,staff & faculty were like “fish in a barrel” because only the shooter ignored the no gun rule?) He said the following:
“I am not in favor of concealed weapons,” Obama told the Pittsburgh Tribune.“I think that creates a potential atmosphere where more innocent people could (get shot during) altercations.” Hmmm… Like at VT Barack? One gun in the right hands could have ended it before so many were killed, & that’s an irrefutable fact
Hmm, let us see here.. Should we vote for a President that doesn’t believe in the 2nd Amendment of the US Consititution, which the tenants thereof made this nation strong & free?
Should only the Police & Government officials have the guns, & if they do, who’s to stop them from abusing the rest of us & treating us like their peasants, slaves, & minions?

The 1929 Act required all Germans, and especially Jews, to turn in all guns or rifles they owned to the authorities. Through their efforts in the Weimar Assembly, these men helped remove all guns owned by German citizens and Jews, thereby helping us make a more secure Germany, a more peaceful Germany. That made it easy for German police and security forces to enforce the dictatorship of the nation without resistance by groups who opposed Hitler’s laws.
This is of course why Charlon Heston made the famous statement; “From my cold dead hands.” He also predicted new gun laws wouldn’t solve crime in 1989. He was of course right in retrospect.

Your “system” doesn’t even currently include a complete border fence, & that’s like trying to stop maggots when you’re told you can’t kill them, detain them, or even hang any fly strips out to keep their parents from hatching them on your property.. Except it’s even worse, because flies can’t handle deadly weapons like humans.
Here we go again.. The moonbats are trying to make an end run around the concept of freedom & the 2nd amendment, by making bullets too expensive to manufacture/buy, & too much of a liability to even own.
They want to etch a serial number on every bullet so they can trace it back to someone in the event of a shooting.. Oh that’s a smart move. What’s to stop someone to ignore a little manufacturing overrun on the assembly line, & black market sell bullets with the same serial number YOU BOUGHT to a killer? This whole concept is nothing but sheer insanity, & a setup waiting to happen to someone.
How is it then that they are apparently trying to make exceptions for law enforcement? Who will stop the black market bullets from flooding the country, when this country can’t even stop illegal aliens from crossing the border? (even though their like a 10 times bigger than a case of bullets.)
How do these geniuses address the possibility of “crime scene seeding”? They can’t! What’s to stop someone from planting evidence with your serial number on it? Shells they found at the firing range, stolen from your home?
Here’s a thought, won’t criminals just start killing people with sawed off shot guns more? How are you going to etch bird shot or buckshot with the gun’s serial no. before it leaves the gun?
California Assemblyman Paul Koretz, author of AB 352, says the whole idea of microstamping is to give law enforcement a new tool to track both killers and unscrupulous gun dealers.
“The idea was never that someone would be convicted solely on the basis of the microstamp,” he stresses.
Of course my story headline does not apply to recreational target shooters, but it certainly applies to Guns in public settings.
Increasingly, liberal zealots are trying to paint gun ownership as being a great plague on society. Police often don’t like them in the hands of average citizens, because sadly some Police feel that they should have “authority” & some kind of tactical advantage over us average folks, instead of viewing themselves rightly as public servants who’s job is to serve & protect the public. Of course the fact is, that criminals are usually the ones concealing their guns for the right moment to pull it out on a cop, & open carriers rarely commit gun crimes. To be clear, most concealed carriers are also law abiding gun owners. My point is that if it’s visible & secured in the holster, nobody has any reason be afraid of it, anymore than they are of someone driving a car, which they could suddenly decide to point at you on the sidewalk.
Another problem with their whole philosophy is of course that darned second amendment thing, that our very wise forefathers inserted in the US Constitution to protect citizens from both government abuses, & for our common protection.
Frighteningly we are hearing about more & more Police officers who are harassing legal gun owners, while they should be spending their time hunting down guns that gang bangers are trading in the back alleys like baseball cards. The video below represents two kinds of officers, some really respectful ones, & some robo-cops who have clearly exalted themselves over the rest of us, who have a legal right to bare arms, & open carry those arms in most states.

The moral of the story here, is that more people should open carry. If more people open carry, Police will be flooded with calls, & eventually forced to both educate their police officers on the rights of citizens to carry a firearm, & leave legal gun owners alone.
Part of the problem is the gap in knowledge/training between the courts, & the Police officers in our Country. The best way to force them to be better educated, is by carrying your weapon responsibly & openly until they adopt procedures to keep their officers well informed on important gun safety laws & regulations. OKLAHOMA CITY — A man who used a camera to take pictures under the skirt of an unsuspecting 16-year-old girl at a Tulsa store did not commit a crime, a state appeals court has ruled.
I can tell you what would have happened to him if that were my daughter. The matter would have been settled “Out of Court”, & with no witnesses present..
None the less, this just goes to show that the government can’t protect you from every evil &/or aspiring pedophiles, & that sometimes you just have to take care of things yourself.

Very disturbing reports are coming out of London that Four British police officers are under surveillance after being identified as possible Al Qaeda spies.
If this turns out to be the case, it will mark a serious escalation in the radical muslim assault on civilized society, by infiltrating the very government organizations that should be protecting it’s citizens, with the intent of doing them intentional harm.
According to the reports, they were planted to keep Al Qaeda abreast of anti-terror raids planned by London’s Metropolitan Police. It is of course not too far fetched to suggest that these same times of spying operations are being attempted in the U.S. as well.
Look my friends, I’ve had people close to me unfortunately look at me like I have three heads all of the sudden, when I tell them that we’re reaching critical mass in a Holy war, & that they’d better forget the idea that the Government alone will protect them from it. The truth is that the only protection from it is to allow law abiding citizens to bear arms, as was & still is provided for in the second amendment of the U.S. constitution.
It is no longer safe to have only “Police Officers” walking around with side arms & assault rifles, since we clearly don’t know who they really are in “some” cases. Now with that said, I want to stress that I’m not suggesting that all or most of our Police in the world have been corrupted. I am however suggesting that they are not Gods & clearly should not be given unfettered power over citizens. Currently I believe that most police officers in society are utmost professionals, & have human interests at the top of their priority list, however that is only being held together (at least here in the U.S.) again, by the provisions of our U.S. Constitution such as the 4th Amendment, which is being slowly attacked by rogue leftist elements in the judiciary, & the radical left itself. The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
The problem of course, is that we now have corrupt judges getting into the legal system, & ignoring the U.S. Constitution. Some of these would think nothing of signing a warrant to arrest or harass a citizen who goes against the political, religious or social ideology of that judge. A good example of this disturbing trend towards a rogue & tyrannical judiciary, is this judge who ignored the Constitutional Rights of an individual who wanted to join the Marine Corps, based on her own political & social biases. She does not believe in the war in Iraq, so there for all others must bow to her will. That’s doesn’t sound like democracy to me. If things were right, she’d be disbarred for her ignorance of the freedoms that God & our Constitution provide us.
In another example of Judicial Abuse, this week a judge in California (the nanny state) ruled that parents who home school their children without “teaching credentials”, are breaking the law, & therefore subject to criminal penalties. I wrote about this in detail here, & the potential repercussions of such an irresponsible & unconstitutional ruling.
The problem “in part” has arisen from an interesting yet sad dynamic in todays society, whereby those who truly adhere to the teachings of God, want to work hard & make a positive difference in the lives of others, while increasingly, those who are lazy & evil, want to pontificate over everyone else from the power of a position that is protected by beauracracy, the confusions of moral relativism, & the blurry policies of totalitarian rule.
Our forefathers in their God given wisdom saw this coming, & nobody put it into words better than Thomas Jefferson when he said:
“The germ of destruction of our nation is in the power of the judiciary, an irresponsible body — working like gravity by night and by day, gaining a little today and a little tomorrow, and advancing its noiseless step like a thief over the field of jurisdication, until all shall render powerless the checks of one branch over the other and will become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated.”

Yes, I know, some people will call me a radical for suggesting that we well… adhere to the ideas of our forefathers, but that’s ok, because as the shit really begins to hit the fan in our own country, some people will look back & wonder why they didn’t take me serious.
It is people like these who are coming for your freedoms. They have been corrupted by the taste of power, & will eventually bow to whatever force shows itself as the most likely to shed their blood. These are not the courageous public servants of yesterday. They are power brokers who’s only motivation is staying alive, & storing up as much power & riches as they can before their dying day.
They will eventually sell us out to Al Qaeda & radical islam en masse, & share in an attempt to share in the spoils of a new world government, without conflict. But eventually they will see that they’ve been deceived by a devil who shares nothing with anyone, & especially not freedom, not even with the wicked who follow him.
We have Democrats vying for power as we speak, who would love nothing more than to disarm every US citizen, & give in to terrorist demands in hopes of sharing in the spoils of a globalized government who upsets no one, & appeases everyone. It’s neurotic, & it’s coming to a state house near you, if you don’t stand up.

So this unmarked police car (presumably unmarked to keep the officers inside under cover) is driving slowly, probably looking for criminal activity on the streets of NYC, when up behind them comes a group of drunken, casino hopping, party crashing revelers, just returning from a Manhattan club strip club, when they decide to jump out of their cab & heckle the three undercover police officers… Oh wait… Huh? Really? These were not your common revelers? One of them was Alycia Lane? The award winning Philadelphia Reporter? And you say she slugged a female cop in the face & called her a “Dyke”? Are suggesting that a member of the elite & widely unaccountable Mainstream Media would strike a police officer, & then let her lawyer work out the details later?
Well NYC Police say that a male officer was attempting to get an drunken man to return to his taxi, when Lane got in their faces with a camera. After a female officer tried to pull the camera away, Lane identified herself as a reporter, called the officer a “Dyke” and hit her in the face, according to a police affidavit.
Lane, through her attorney, says she never hit anyone. She has pleaded not guilty.
Soon after her release from custody, Lane called Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell “to make sure he knew her side of the story because he is an opinion-maker and runs around in influential circles,” Rendell spokesman Chuck Ardo told the Philadelphia Daily News for a story Tuesday.
Ardo said Lane did not ask Rendell to intervene on her behalf and that Rendell would not do so if she asked.

Ok, clearly she did “something” to get arrested, but the more disturbing thing to me is her calling people of “influence” to get out of this, & then being released on her own recognizance, after three Police officers say she struck & injured one of them. So she didn’t ask the governor to intervene when she called, but I suppose we’re supposed to believe she just called to wish him a Merry Christmas? Maybe so, but the timing looks pretty bad, well not to mention the reports that she was “crying on the phone” to Gov. Rendell.
I don’t think we can all get through to the Governor of our states to “tell our side of the story” every time there’s an altercation that involves the Police. I’m pretty sure that’s sort of a privilege set aside for gorgeous, puppy eyed, long legged media women, & anyone else who abuses their media credentials to get special treatment from officials, in exchange for a positive editorial spin later on. You know, you scratch my scandal, I’ll scratch any future “bumps in the road” OFF THE MEDIA RADAR for you type of thing..
The bottom line is that this just goes to show another example of how the Mainstream Media’s influence in this country is now going to their heads. They often believe themselves to be above the law, & sadly sometimes they end up being right.
Now on to what I believe is the even bigger story here. The way they even knife each other every chance they get. Can you believe that Dan Abrams & MSNBC would have the nerve to call Alycia Lane “Loser of the Week.” (See following video)
