Is anyone else as sick of the mainstream media as I am? I mean I know they are desperate to see Obama win the Presidency, but why don’t they just be honest about it, & change their names to like, The Washington Obama Post, & ABC = “All Barack Communications”, & MSNBC which now seems to stand for: “McCain Should Not Be Campaining.

Today Steve Gill reported that the Washington post poll released yesterday had been ridiculously front loaded with Democrat respondents. A look into the poll’s details confirm this. The media is trying to steer this election, just like they did in 2000 when Bush had Florida, but before the polls were even closed & all the voters had arrived, they called the state for Al Gore. What they did could have caused many voters with radios on to turn their cars around & go home instead of waiting in traffic & lines for a lost cause (as reported by CNN). It was borderline criminal.

Now those of us who actually know something about politics are not easily deceived by these bogus polls. For example, if you will scroll down to question #901 in the poll you will find that the internal poll information reveals that the Democrats had a ten point edge in the makeup of those polled! 38% of the respondents said they are Democrats, versus just 28% Republican…yet Obama only had a nine point lead?!?!?! Just a month ago the poll over-surveyed Democrats by 13% among likely voters!! This thing is simply intended to bolster the propaganda that Obama has turned things around.

Oh, and among the so-called independents polled, when asked towards which political party they lean the numbers were about 18% in favor of the DEMOCRATS. Check out question #904.

Weighting Polls is a common practice (unfortunately), but the Main Stream Media has a history of front loading polls for Democrats so badly that it’s impossible to hide their indiscretions.

Poll weighting is based on assumptions & hypothesis about past trends in voting, & is a dangerous game. For example pollsters may decide that although they are polling 35% Democrats, & 35% Republicans, other data suggests to them that about 6% less Democrats (a hypothetical for instance) tend to participate in polling questionnaires at lets say the “Shopping Mall”, so the pollsters artificially ad a 6% advantage for the Democrats to make up for that. There’s usually no way to predict for certain whether or not these assumptions will be right or wrong in a given election cycle. These are just a few examples of how our media relies on the fact that many people either don’t have time to, or care to look into the accuracy of the data they are receiving. It’s also my opinion that we’ve developed a culture where most people don’t want to get behind a team they know is probably going to lose, because they’ve been conditioned to feel that it’s an exercise in futility. But those of us who have played any competitive sport have been trained to play with all our heart until the final buzzer sounds. We don’t quit because the opposing team scored a few garbage goals early on.

Obama has certainly scored a few “Garbage Goals” with the public with the help of some dirty referees known as the Main Stream Media, who has time & time again proven themselves to be unreliable, dishonest, elitist, & extremely biased.

Then there’s the “push polling“ that is as equally devious, but that’s another related subject.

Do yourself & your country a favor this election season. Take these polls that are done by media outlets with a grain of salt, because they haven’t changed their agenda any, & they are often doing a hatchet job on the data you end up seeing.

CNN reporters have gone the extra extra mile to dig up what they think is “dirt” on Sarah palin. The only thing it serves to do though, is provide further evidence that they are heading the way of MSNBC, & are well on their way to becoming a full on propaganda machine for the Democratic party.

Now everyone knows that the mayor of a town can’t possibly be aware of, or even change every single policy that exists in their town. It’s a process that is supposed to involve many people in a Democracy, & not just one mayor. Despite this obvious fact, & much like how the extreme leftists of the Democratic party like to convince the sheeple that it’s George Bush’s fault when they get a flat tire on the freeway, they are going to use lies & distortions to try & discredit Sarah Palin. They have no moral boundaries or limits to how they will do this, & that includes exploiting something as horrible as rape.

Here’s a question for CNN’s so called reporter Jessica Yellin.. Why didn’t you write about this BEFORE she got nominated WAY back in 2000? Why didn’t you care back when she was mayor? I’ll tell you why.. It’s because you have nothing but political motivations for writing this story. You don’t care about rape victims, you care about doing anything necessary to get Barack Hussein Obama elected, whether its honest or not.

Meanwhile the Obama campaign uses proxy operatives to smear Palin on You Tube. It seems that Democrats hiding behind proxies to take cheap shots are becoming very popular.

Well, I wasn’t sure that MSNBC had the fortitude to do it, but it appears that the “tingle” going up Chris Matthews’ leg has turned into a “tinkle” going down it, as he was told he was being removed from Political coverage on MSNBC. Kieth Olbermann has also been removed, but I think more of us expected that one, as he has been completely & obviously unhinged for a while now.

MSNBC got hammered in the ratings for their blatantly Democrat biased coverage, coming in dead last to all the other major networks during both the Democratic & Republican conventions. Apparently this led to an eventual meltdown between many of MSNBC network’s staff.

It’s refreshing to see that the viewing public is much smarter than the elitist media is giving them credit for. Perhaps this will go a long way toward putting some balance back in the hard news, & keeping opinion editorials in a seperate category, where they belong. Time will tell, (& I don’t mean the biased magazine Time.) MSNBC has some cleaning up to do over at that affiliate as well.

My opinion? If people want balanced news, they will need to read all major networks, & come to a conclusion based on sifting through all the biases that exist on every network, but certainly stay away from MSNBC until their anchors can stop tingling & tinkling on themselves on a fairly consistent basis.

I leave you with this completely unbiased video from Matthews/Olbermann. Ok maybe its a little biased.. Alright, its very, very biased.. “Instrumental only?” Was Chuck Berry a Republican? Maybe Olbermann only hears liberal voices.. (You’ll see what
I mean.)

On Friday August 29th 2008, the same day that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s historical nomination as the first female Vice Presidential Nominee was announced, MSNBC began running childish attacks on Palin like the one Bill O’Reilly point’s out in the video below. (They aired a “breaking news” type banner that said: “How many houses does Sarah Palin add to the Republican ticket.”) That was unfortunately just the beginning. They are trying to smear her & John McCain here as well, & trying to belittle her experience by incessantly calling her a “former beauty queen”, instead of stating the truth, which is that she’s a former Mayor, & now the Governor of the biggest land mass, & energy rich state in the Union. Meanwhile Newsweek’s current issue has Joe Biden & Barack Obama smiling angelically on the front cover of the current issue of the Newsweek magazine. It’s the moist extreme case of media bias I & many others have ever seen in our lives.

So this is what some people who call themselves news reporters have lowered themselves to? Well it’s no surprise to me to look up the ratings for these news outlets to find that MSNBC is getting absolutely hammered by Fox News, & the CNN respectively, & I do mean HAMMERED in months that were NOT the during Democratic convention. Even this month with all your liberal viewership watching the Democratic “Super Bowl like halftime show” of a convention & giving you a prime time lead, you still couldn’t even squeak past Fox News in total views!

Great job MSNBC! Keep up the biased propaganda, it seems to be doing wonders for your ratings!

On a side note, Sarah is up against this guy. This is a great comedy video,(below) Featuring the memorable lines:“The Only Reason I’m Senator” & “Bob Casey was twelve years older than me, and Bobby Casey was twelve years younger than me. And I knew somebody famous was going to come out of Scranton, and I sure a’ hell knew it wadn’t gonna be me.”.. The only problem with the last statement is that Biden left Scranton at the age of ten.. This is going to be easier than I though once they unleash the Barracuda on him.

Sidenote: I’m not trying to be unfair here, but Biden really does seem drunk in this video. I’m far from the first person to make that observation, but judge for yourselves.

The media has “internalized the story”, because the story is INTERNAL to the media’s own corrupt bias.

It’s kind of like asking a Cancer patient why they talk about their Cancer instead of just refusing to believe it exist, & refusing treatment.

The reason why the “Obamessiah 2008 Rock On!” tour is now starting to get negative reactions, is because it’s quite simply gayer than a Maypole in June to run around the world like Mr.light loafers, groveling for international support under the arrogant presumption that you’ve already wrapped up enough support at home.

Oh, & one more thing Ms. Huffington. You asked: “Why is Obama’s popularity with our allies a bad thing?” It’s a bad thing because he’s not a statesman any more than “House” is actually a brilliant physician, but rather he’s posing as one, & acting like a little kid who just won chance to visit the Willy Wonker candy factory.

Oh, & then there’s the media lies & distortions about how many people are actually showing up to his rallies? But it’s more his popularity with terrorists that concerns many Americans, & that concern will grow in coming months.

Of course Arriana will undoubtedly point to the fact that people like Chavez & officials in the Palestinian terror group Hamas have now “gone neutral” in their support of Obama. But what she won’t mention is the, “No dummies, not yet, not yet! don’t support us yet! At least not publicly!” phone calls that the Obama campaign undoubtedly made to the untraceable contacts in the outer fringes, & representatives of these parties.

Luckily there are people out there that can help Arriana Huffington to “get a clue” when it comes to the truth about her new Messiah. He’s a fraud, & no “Rock Star Tour”, or panicked sounding little OP ED she writes about it is going to change that. All she’s really doing is re-enforcing the public’s notion that Democrats can’t handle the truth. I think I smell fear in the smoke Arriana is blowing..

Tim Russert died today of an apparent heart attack. I was told the news from a friend of mine who leans liberal while we were hanging out, & I said; well.. Tim was one of the people in the media these days who I give credit to for not being afraid to ask the honest, tough questions. My friend looked down at his laptop & said to me that “that’s is exactly what they wrote about him here”.

I wasn’t surprised, because it is definitely true. We may not have agreed on everything, but I think it’s safe to say that America lost a great news anchor, & he will be missed dearly.

My thoughts & prayers go out to Tim’s family & colleagues during this difficult time.

Looks like someone in that MSNBC crew or staff is trying to hide what actually occurred when the ghost whisper saying “He Raised Taxes” was mysteriously heard right before Romney responded at this weeks Republican debate. They need to come clean about exactly how this happened. If they are going to claim it was an audience member, then tell us where the mic was exactly, & whether it was a unidirectional mic, (a mic that pics up from only one direction) or an omnidirectional mic (a mic that can pic up in all directions.) I don’t see any logical reason a media studio would have an omnidirectional mic set up during a debate, let alone why the sound engineer would have a mic in the audience wide open (turned up) while a Presidential candidate was speaking. Omni mics would only be useful to catch applause, & this wasn’t that kind of taping.

Nobody seems to have mentioned the most important fact of the matter. The “professional” main stream media has people like Helen Thomas trashing bloggers for being “unprofessional”, yet they can’t even figure out which mics were open in their studio, who was standing by them, or if the signal path was breached.

With that kind of security it’s a wonder something worse didn’t happen. People who speculate & slander the Romney camp without proof about how it happened need to pipe down, because there a lot you may not know about todays sound technology.

As a professional & trained sound engineer, I can assure you that if any wireless mics were used? Anyone in or even near the studio could have got on those frequencies with the right knowledge. I’d be willing to bet wireless microphones were in the signal chain. Furthermore, any of the MSNBC staff off camera could have been on those frequencies with a mic, or hard wired with a mic.

Secondly, this appears to have been a cue to Tim Russert to expand on his question with Romney, not a prompt for Romney himself. Notice how Russert butts in interrupting Romney to ALSO say that Reagan raised taxes, right after the whisper. This was also a veiled slam on Reagan politics by the way, & planned carefully by MSNBC. It’s designed to imply that anyone who associates themselves with Reagan will raise taxes, & is therefore a bad candidate.

Thirdly, this is the run up to the PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, & if this action is in it’s final result slandering ANY of the candidates, there should be a thorough investigation by the proper authorities, as this isn’t an election for Class President of some high school.

Lastly, this clearly just goes to show that the Main Stream Media cannot be trusted for competency in reporting.

As a blogger who readily admits I’m not a part of the “Journalism” profession, I’m very glad I’m not. To be a part of that largely corrupt group of so called “Professionals” known as the Main Stream Media, would be to sell my soul to the devil, for a guaranteed opportunity to force my opinions into virtually every home in America, & call it “reporting the news.”

What I am is an American citizen with a voice, who is exercising my first amendment rights out of concern for my country. I know that frightens the status quo media folks who have turned the news into information brokering, a way of controlling, brainwashing, & ultimately fleecing the masses in our country by endorsing those with whom they are politically aligned. But like anyone with a conscience & a soul that still belongs to God & themselves, I want no part of that.

The difference between bloggers & the main stream media of course, is that no blogger I’ve ever read has ever claimed to be “Your only source for News & Events”. On the contrary, we tend to link to competitors who may have differing opinion, because we believe in a system of checks & balances, as well as actual free speech & information sharing, not the kind of “information sifting & filtering” that’s become the norm for the old guard that Helen Thomas helped to create.

Helen Thomas & her kind are afraid of bloggers, because we represent something her “profession” as a whole lost sight of many decades ago now, & that is the ultimate higher calling of the media. It is to serve their fellow man by providing the information needed to make life decisions, (often in reaction to the information provided) based on wisdom & knowledge that we are all taught in school, or acquire through spiritual wisdom & provenial grace.

We don’t need the media to make up our minds for us, or arbitrarily filter the information to us that they feel is relevant, or in their opinion “important”, but yet somehow the media has made themselves the gatekeepers of all common sense & relevance. The “news” they “allow” us to see or here is “the gospel according to their editors”, instead of a word for word, or pictured chronicle of events.

To Helen Thomas; The problem your industry has is that the general public is tired of your narrow opinions about “why” news happens, & would just like you to spend more time reporting it without always needing to have an analysis or opinion, as if without you, no man or woman could make up his or own mind, & would fail to understand it. You are gatherers & disseminators of information, you are not Gods, Kings, or Queens who issue their judgments & decrees upon the rest of us.

In short Helen Thomas, you may not see me as a “journalist” with your “ethics” & “standards”, but who in hell are you to pontificate at your very readers & customers what is a good product?

I bring my car to have the oil changed not because I can’t do it myself, but because I want to spend my time doing other things. However if I can’t find a shop to do it right? I’ll do it myself again. I’ll go find out what the right Oil filter part number is for my vehicle, & buy the parts myself, & do the work myself. Similarly, when YOUR customers Helen Thomas don’t think you’re doing a good or honest service for us, WE WILL get it done with or without you, & YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE MY LAPTOP OUT OF MY COLD DEAD HANDS BEFORE YOU STOP ME from ideating (EITHER ALONE OR WITH OTHERS) on how to make or keep the country I Love a better place. You know, I’ve never paid much attention to this Keith Olbermann guy, because any time I’ve seen him on MSNBC, he always gave me the impression he spends more time on his hair than he does on his talking points.

He talks at people, & not too them. It’s not that I’m unwilling to listen to a liberal pundit’s point of view, because as an United States citizen, I believe that one of the things that “used to” keep our government in check, was the multi political party system. The problem I have is that it’s guys like him that give the Mainstream News Media a bad name. He’s a hypocrite, & the first of the following videos proves it. The second just proves he’s about as much an insightful reporter as Paul Revere was for riding down the street screaming the British were coming.

In the first video, the elitist self worshiping Olbermann gets the pronunciation of Michelle Malkin’s maiden name wrong. Not a big deal, UNTIL! If you watch through to the end of the video,where he then shows a video of Bush doing a press conference on terror, & goes into a rant (among other things) about how Bush got the name of a skyscraper wrong during a press conference.

What Olbermann fails to mention is that he is no doubt using facts that an actual reporter gathered for him to make that judgment about Mr. Bushs’ comments. This guy doesn’t care about facts however, he cares about how far he can twist them to make himself look clever, while giving himself a pass for his own lack of journalistic accuracy. He’s a media hack!

Furthermore, in all his deviousness, dishonestly & self righteousness, he fails to tell inform his viewers of the fact that just as he depends on his minions to gather facts to twist or to spew like venom on his poor excuse for a “news” show, so too do Presidents of countries need people to put together facts & figures for them. Wherever there are humans, there will obviously be errors. Well, unless your Keith, he’s apparently infallible in the eyes of well.. Keith..

The difference of course between a talking head that most people won’t remember in 30 years, & being a President of a Country, is that a President is in charge of quarterbacking & helping to run a whole country, not just come up with a few sarcastic & often unprovable opinions for the evening. Olbermann only has to run his mouth to get paid, & apparently MSNBC isn’t too picky about the factual integrity of what comes out of it. It’s also interesting to note that the only people that he picks on in most of his World’s Worst segment, are conservatives. I mean I know he throws a fellow moonbat to the dogs once in a while, but there’s no honor among them anyway, so what’s the difference?

Nothing to say about any of the murderous dictators around the world, or killers who go into malls or schools & mass murder people though huh Keith? Oh wait, maybe that’s unfair since you probably believe that guns kill people, & not the morons holding them.

My message to Michelle Malkin, Rush Limbaugh & anyone else this guy attacks, is to laugh at him, because he’s truly laughable, & his credibility will soon go the way of Rosie O’Donnell & her “fire can’t melt steel” comment. Olbermann needs to get over himself, so that he can find his purpose in life, unless he’s sure it’s to be an annoying newscaster with a sociopath’s personality. Sociopaths often believe themselves to be beyond reproach, while finding fault in others with no remorse or apologies. Watch Kieth Olbermann’s show, & one definitely has to wonder if he doesn’t fall into that category. He’s counting down alright.. Counting down the days until the shock value of his rants doesn’t buoy his ratings any longer. Then he’ll have to consult Madonna or Britney Spears for some career advice.

Don’t take my word for it people. Watch the self righteous Olbermann for yourself.

I’m starting to miss Dan Rather now.. That’s scary.. Olbermann really should have stayed a Sportscaster.. The news was way better back when he was, & from what I hear, he probably enjoyed watching the guys play football much more than having to look at the likes of Michelle Malkin.
