2 Border Agents not just “Railroaded”, they were “Bullet Trained” by apparently Corrupt Officials.

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

VERY IMPORTANT News From GlennBeck.com:

In February 2005 BP agents Ramos and Compean were on routine patrol down in Fabens, Texas along the border. A drug smuggler was detected — well, they didn’t know he was smuggling drugs yet. A border breach was detected by Compean, he radioed it in. They gave chase to a van, started to speed back toward the border. The individual, which is Aldrete Davila, he abandoned the van and decided to head for the border on foot. At the time other border patrol agents joined the pursuit and the drug smuggler confronted Compean on the other side of a drainage ditch on his way back to Mexico. At the time Compean tried to arrest him, he tried to apprehend him, they got into a scuffle and shots were fired. In the meantime Ramos is climbing down this drainage ditch to assist his fellow border agent. He hears shots fired. As he emerges, he sees Compean on the ground, he sees a drug smuggler running away. He shoots at him. He thinks he has a gun. He doesn’t know what’s happening. He shoots at him. He hits him, but he doesn’t know he hit him because the guy kept running and escapes back to Mexico, where on the other side of the border there were other people waiting to pick him up and take him away.

As they walk back, they noticed that inside this van is a million dollars worth of marijuana, about 750 pounds. So other agents are on scene including two supervisors. The mistake they made, they did not orally report the shooting.

GLENN: But it’s important at this point of the story to know that supervisors were on the scene.

SETMAYER: Yes.

GLENN: Others were there. It is almost a loophole there that they nailed them on and said, well, they didn’t report the shooting. The idea was they didn’t need to report the shooting. People were on the scene.

SETMAYER: That’s right. And border patrol regulations state that they’re only supposed to orally report it. That supervisor is supposed to file a written report. So this is a policy violation. It’s not criminal. Well, three weeks go by. They catalog the drugs. You know, the guy absconded, he escaped to New Mexico. You know, routine day on the border so one would think. Anyone who knows or is familiar with what’s going on in the southern border, it’s a war zone there. So the fact that they weren’t shot is actually a good thing.

A few weeks go by and we find out that the Department of Homeland Security has opened up an internal affairs investigation because the drug smuggler that they shot grew up with a border patrol agent in Arizona. The incident happened in Texas. Their families talk and they find out that Aldrete Davila has been shot by a border agent. So this agent in Arizona takes it upon himself to research what’s going on, look for the shooting report.

Out of Respect for Glenn & all the hard work he & his investigative team have done on this, I will not copy & paste this entire story here on my site. Please go here for the complete story.

To those of you who read my site, I implore you to go to Glenn’s site & read this story, as well as listen to the audio. There have been few stories that I think are as important for EVERY American to be aware of, as this one.

I have a sick feeling that this conviction, & the decision of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans to uphold four of the convictions against Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean, including those that resulted in their lengthy sentence is nothing more than a Political move in an election year; & that somewhere down the line we will find out that these to Border Patrol agents have been the victim of a sort of game of political “Hot Potato” to eventually avoid offending the open borders latino voters.

Whatever the motivation was, it’s becoming clear that this case stinks like SHIT, period.. The two agents are in solitary confinement, (for their own protection) & can only come out of their cell one hour a day from what I understand. Doesn’t sound like their mental health would be “protected” under those circumstances.

If this stands, we will be effectively declaring open season on Border Guards, & rendering them virtually defenseless & understandably reluctant to do their job. Perhaps that’s what was behind this horrible judgment, & the withholding of evidence from the Jury in this case. These sentences should never have been handed down, & be pardoned by Bush at the very least.

It’s time to light up the phones & fill the e-mail boxes of your Congressmen. We cannot let two good men rot in jail, & write them off as dispensable collateral damage in a political war over immigration policy. They are Americans, not American politicians. After seeing what has been done to them, I will certainly always draw a distinction from this day forward.

Shocking news from Big Brother; Flying could be an electrifyng experience..

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Some nitwits in the Department of Homeland Security have decided that it would be a good idea to imprison you on an airplane like a Dog that they’re trying to keep in the yard with an electric fence.

This is not a joke (unfortunately), & they are completely serious. The DHS wants to create a bracelet that will shock a passenger on an airline if they get out line. Everyone who enters the secure area of the airport would be required to wear one. Oh, & get this, they want to put the controls in the hands of a crew member on the plane. Not a law enforcement professional with criminal justice training, but just a crew member.

Besides the obvious constitutional violations that are immediately presented in tandem with such a retarded idea, I have a few questions about this. What if the crew member accidentally shocks the wrong passenger, or decides that a fight on board justifies hitting the “apply to all” button that we all know will likely exist? What about people with heart problems? Computer malfunctions? Bracelet malfunctions? Ok, now that we can see this idea is ridiculously reckless & dangerous, lets go back to the constitutionality..

Putting a person in what amounts to a pair of shackles (with a twist of voltage) absolutely violates the 4th amendment; The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

This idea absolutely violates one’s right to “self” & should never have been researched with tax payer money in the first place. It’s one more example of how out of control our government has become, & while I sympathize with the DHS’s need for security options, violating a person’s personal space with a mandatory shock bracelet is going more than too far. It is a form of detention, no matter what the advocates of this system want to try & make you believe.

Let’s just stick with the Air Marshal’s ok? I’d rather have one of those sitting next to me with a tommy gun on a plane, than have someone violating my personal freedom based on something I haven’t done yet, or even plan on ever doing.

Here is a video apparently promoting this system:

In fairness, there are also documents on the lamperd site discussing using these for controlling illegal aliens once in custody that you may want to check out regarding the “other” uses proposed between the DHS & Lamperd Less Lethal. Now that is a good idea, because they’ve actually broken the law! Also check out the responses from DHS over here at MM’s place.

As far as these bracelets being used to violate the rights of innocent civilians? I will campaign against them personally, & will be one of the first to file suit against the government if they try to impose one on me as a condition of flying on a commercial aircraft. How would the DHS/Lampert people react if I pointed a pistol at them the whole time they were shopping in my convenience store? They’d surely tell me to put the gun down, to which I would say: “Hey, I’m just keeping it on you in case you decide to rob me.. Besides, the safety is on right now, so no need to worry. You’re in very capable hands, just trust that I wont shoot you, & that I’m well trained to point this loaded gun at you safely…”

I leave you with this video. Is this what it’s coming down to?

The Weirdest & Scariest Story I’ve covered here so far?

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

Today, the Houston Chronicle reports that the Houston PD shot a man who’s friends & family say is a CIA officer, after a high speed pursuit. The CIA claims he doesn’t work for them.

The story is scary because if he wasn’t a CIA officer, how did he convince so many people? If he was? Why didn’t Police recognize his credentials?

Also, why did he run & then reach under the seat ignoring police commands? How did the police miss THREE weapons in the car at the scene, & then mysteriously find them behind closed doors at an impound yard, including a shotgun on the floor in front of the back seat? It may be legit, but it certainly raises eyebrows.

The whole weird story is here..

We’ll be keeping an eye on this one for sure.
