Like most of our friends, my wife and I were ready to vote against Sen. Obama prior to his unfortunate pick of Sen. Biden as his running mate.

For a man from such humble beginnings who has risen to multi-millionaire status in just forty-six years. Obama’s notion that our country not yet good enough to suit his standards of fairness, equality, and opportunity just rings a bit hollow to those of us who have worked so hard to reach our dreams.

Obama’s idea that our nation owes the American dream to anyone who can crash our borders is frightening. Obama’s view that when we strive to do better for ourselves we have somehow been unfair to those who make no effort of their own, is wrong and unjust.

Sen. Obama’s ideas for change in America are far too dangerous for anyone who cares about our future to withhold his vote for Sen. McCain, just because McCain is not conservative enough.

Now that Gov. Palin has entered the picture the thought of voting for McCain feels less like blackmail and more like preparation for a brighter future. I don’t care if any displaced Clinton supporters vote McCain/Palin this November. We do not need the support of anyone who is so dogmatic about voting for a woman just because she is a woman.

Gov. Palin’s firsthand experience with ANWAR will bring needed clarity to the national debate about accessing our own oil reserves rather than spending billions of our dollars on oil that is owned by Islamic expansionists. Her understanding of the rights of firearms ownership and her experience at running a private business as well as running a state far exceed the limited scope of Obama and Biden combined.

When it comes to the issues that matter most to our safety and security a woman who has a proven history of performance that is grounded in the realities of faith, freedom, and family can be trusted to make the right decisions.

I can support four years of a McCain administration that is balanced by the influence of Vice President Palin. I look forward to the leadership of a woman president whose charm, ability to connect with the people, and conservative values inspire folks to compare her favorably to Ronald Regan.

An illegal alien who once found sanctuary in San Francisco is now the focus of a push for reform by the victim(s) wife & mother. It’s not the first time an illegal has committed murder in the city.

Danielle Bologna was widowed on June 22 when Edwin Ramos, 21, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, allegedly gunned down her husband, Anthony, and two sons, Matthew and Michael, in a road rage incident when her family was returning from a picnic.

Ramos has been charged with three counts of murder in the case, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

My question is how many legal citizens will have to be murdered before this country adopts a zero tolerance policy towards illegal immigrants? Matthew Bologna was a mere 16 years old when he was murdered by this man who didn’t belong here in the first place.

Will it take for a prominent politician to lose a family member to the murderous hand of an illegal immigrant for us to see action? It sure is beginning to seem that way.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson apologized Wednesday for saying Barack Obama is “talking down to black people” during what Jackson thought was a private conversation before a FOX News interview Sunday.

Jackson was speaking to a guest at the time about Obama’s speeches in black churches and his support for faith-based charities. Jackson added before going live, “I want to cut his nuts off.”

His microphone picked up the remarks.

ST. ANTHONY, Idaho — A suspected illegal immigrant has been charged with raping a 10-year-old girl who later gave birth in eastern Idaho.

The girl gave birth less than two weeks ago by caesarian section at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Fremont County Sheriff Ralph C. Davis and other authorities said. Officials would not disclose the gender, date of birth or paternity of the baby.

Not only has Juan McCain created an all Spanish speaking version of his website, but he’s endorsing & appearing before a group who wants to silence anyone who disagrees with letting Mexican illegals flood over the border into the United States unfettered. That group is called “The National Council of La Raza“.

Michelle Malkin is this nation’s un-reputiated voice of reason on immigration, & she’s put together these Great Top Ten Reasons on why McCain should get his head out of the tequila vat & distance himself from La Raza.

Instead, McCain seems intent on doing some ideological laundering in exchange for algunos votos.

I hate to say it, but if McCain gets into office we’re screwed. If Hillary gets into office we’re double screwed, & if Obama gets in, this country is going to get “La Razed.”

How I entered college an Agnostic Liberal and left a Conservative Christian

The following is an account of my SoCal college experiences…

During my first semester, I took a Political Science class and scored “flaming Liberal” on the entrance exam (I scored further left than anyone in the entire class). I also took a bunch of Sociology, Psychology, Science and Multi-cultural classes. In these subjects I was routinely told about the evils of America, Republicans and Christians. I was enlightened in my science classes about how God does not exist. I was informed that men are pigs (except possibly the progressive, sensitive, compliant ones that were bi-products of the feminist movement). I remember giggling in agreement when my professors talked about how archaic and ignorant Christians were and nodding in unison when they described how greedy and arrogant Republicans were. I would then bring this “superior intellectual knowledge” home to my high-school-sweetheart-turned-hubby Charlie, in hopes that I could sway him from his Conservative Christian views (oh yeah, our household was a barrel of monkeys during this time period). Charlie would ask me questions like, “Don’t you wonder why they aren’t offering counter points? What are they afraid of? What are they hiding?” I remember him so logically and lovingly providing the balance that my professors deprived me of. However, like so many naïve young college kids, I thought “how could my instructors, with all of their education and degrees, be wrong?” Class after class, semester after semester, I heard the same old stuff. But little by little, it didn’t feel so great to bob my head in unison. In fact, I secretly became ashamed. Even though I was a goody-two-shoes obsessed with my 4.0, I had always been somewhat of a rebel at heart. In jr. high and high school I was drawn to the “different” kids (for me it was the brainiac/skater/sci-fi/punk crowd). I really admired those that did not blindly follow the crowd, were willing to take a stand, stick-up for the underdog, etc. Suddenly, here I was in college, and somehow I had become part of the mass mob majority. I grew more and more skeptical, I began to see the importance of Charlie’s questions, and I wanted answers.

Really long story short… you can only be spoon fed a one-sided story for so long before (hopefully) you begin to question its validity. Out of my respect and admiration for my hubby, my need for balance, my love for the underdogs, etc. I started to do my own research. It is interesting, amazing, and life-altering the information that can be found outside of college. You might be familiar with some of my findings like: I learned that scientific theories (the ones trying to remove God) actually contradict with scientific laws – weird that my Science teachers never disclosed that FACT (for more lefty myths, see my blog: Lies from the Land of the Left). Anyway, some of you know my story from there… I am now a Conservative Christian living in SoCal – a REBEL once again! Woohoo! And… (just in case you didn’t know)… Ann Coulter and Jesus rock!!!

I realize that this was my personal experience. And, to be fair, the types of classes I took might partly explain why my professors were so biased: my BA major was in Liberal Arts (fyi: liberal meaning “the seven branches of medieval education”, not “Michael Moore”) with a minor in Sociology and my MA was in Education and Multicultural studies. As a side note, I do want to give a shout-out to my Calculus teacher and most of my grad school professors at Chapman University (private school, hellooo) for remaining fairly balanced – I now realize how truly courageous they were. I am now a public school teacher myself and I understand the enormous responsibility that comes with my profession. I know how students can blindly believe what they are told, so I must be as fair and balanced as possible. In my opinion, a lot of our kids are having a Liberal agenda shoved down their throats, and they are buying it hook, line and sinker. Unfortunately, I do not think my story is unique.

I’m a little sickened by this lynch mob mentality that’s emerging among some “so called” conservatives who are now threatening to banish Matt Drudge for all eternity over his albeit foolish story on Prince Harry in Afghanistan..

I mean yeah, it was obviously poor judgment, & not a mistake I think I would have made, but God knows we all make them.

So would the first blogger to never have put his or her foot in their mouth please throw the first stone? Well Hmmm….. I think Matt is Pretty safe now..

Folks should be voicing their displeasure to Matt Drudge, but not lowering themselves to the level of vitriolic hate speech that we expect to hear from the likes of the Berkeley Ca. city council against our own military.

It just makes conservatives look more like the ravenous back stabbing Demoncrats when we start pig piling on one of our own as soon as they make a mistake.

Matt Drudge has done a lot of great things for both Conservatives & the Blogger world, even if he’s not a fan of everyone’s blogs.

Call him a blabbermouth, fine.. But a tabloid? That’s a wee bit extreme..
I think we owe the man just a little bit more respect than what’s being shown right now.

The last thing we need is for Conservative bloggers to start adapting the elitist, self righteous attitude that is so pervasive in the MSM.

Hillary Clinton on Thursday stepped behind an Ohio diner counter, and appeared perfectly comfortable taking orders.

“I’ve waited tables before,” the Democratic presidential candidate acknowledged, as she chatted up the Rio Grande, Ohio, restaurant staff and wrote up an order, according to Nytimes.com

She was holding court at a Bob Evans restaurant in southeastern Ohio. The Times’ Caucus blog reports she discussed grits, stuffed pancakes among other diner fare delicacies.

“I might as well take a few orders,” she said, reaching for a pad.

Let me be the first to say that I would be equally as uncomfortable having Hillary as my waitress (given my less than favorable opinions of her to date) as would be with having her be my President. I do however hope that after Barack Hussein Obama, Oprah Windbag, & the rest of the Johnny come lately media sheep are finished with her, that she will still at least be able to work at the Capital Cafeteria. I’d much rather she was in a position of potentially creating health hazard, than in one of trying to remedy them. She wants to MAKE people buy health insurance. I say live free or die.

Since intellectually dishonest Islamic apologists, & the leftist media are banding together to distort the truth, I thought one of todays stories needed to be reminder of what “religious group” or cult to be more accurate, blew up the trade towers, the Pentagon, & several planes full of people on 9/11. It was those who subscribe to that ever peaceful religion of Islam.

Yet Bruce Nolan who apparently writes pseudo religious rhetoric for The Times-Picayune in New Orleans, is apparently aspiring to be the New Orleans branch of the Al Jazeera propoganda mill, & has seen fit to readily & dutifully convey the lies & twisted commentary of jihadi apologist Hussein Ibish. I guess Bruce has already forgotten who the enemy was on 9/11. Here’s a quote from his insane article appearing in USA Today:

American culture’s view of American Muslims and Islam is steadily deteriorating under an onslaught of “bigotry” on cable news shows, newspaper op-ed pages and in the blogosphere, an Arab-American activist told an audience at Tulane University here Tuesday.

So let me get this straight. They blow us up because we’re slimey lowlife Infindels to them (after they visted the strip club & knocked back a few drinks), but yet we are the bigots? Hmmm… Something’s not quite adding up to the truth there.. Do think that the comments you print should have any truth to them Mr. Nolan, or are you preparing for a career with a supermarket grade Tabloid?

In this retarded & poor excuse for a news story, Bruce Nolan also puts forth the following statement from Hussein Ibish, & in all his journalistic prowess, completely fails to challenge it in any way. Go figure… Here’s the unchallenged lie of an allegation:

Let me respond to this with a visual for you:

Or maybe it was when one of four Palestinian militants, who had hijacked the cruise ship Achille Lauro, shot 69 year old American Jew Leon Klinghoffer in the forehead and chest while he was sitting in his wheelchair & then threw him & his wheelchair overboard that explains the collapse of the good name of Islam??

I could cite a dozen more brutal acts that have failed to produce parades of Islamic/Muslims with signs out in our streets, protesting the violence. Somehow when these acts of violence are perpetrated by their brethren, it gets eerily quiet, as if they go into hiding until it blows over. I see plenty of Muslims carrying “Death to America” signs & propaganda, (warning, very graphic propaganda via dead baby image also shown by a Muslim at that link) but I don’t seem to be able to Google a Muslim holding a sign that says “Death to Islamic Terrorists”, so I ask you Mr. Hussein Ibish, could THAT explain the collapse of the good name of Islam? Me thinks it does..

I’m starting to see what I expected to see after the shock of a McCain nomination began to wear off, & that is a weakening in the will of true conservatives to protest his nomination.

It was a sad fact that I knew I’d have to face at some point, but I guess I thought it would happen a little later in the year, after the Republican machine hammered on us holdouts long enough to really terrorize us about the looming Democrat & Liberal threats to our way of life.

I received a letter yesterday from an un-pledged delegate who will remain unnamed. This delegate was at one point vehemently opposed to throwing behind McCain just for the sake of following the pack, but now from the comments in their e-mail, they are clearly caving to peer pressure. That’s their personal decision, & I respect that, however come hell or high water, I will not be voting for any of the candidates in this years Presidential election.

I have made a promise to do a write in vote for Michelle Malkin, in protest to the fact that she understands the needs & policy issues of our country better than most of the Republican candidates, or the Republican Congress does. Her knowledge of the relevant issues is so extensive, comparing her to Democrats is not even worth discussing.

Michelle’s hard work & dedication notwithstanding, it is truly a sad state of affairs when we cannot even muster up a handful of elected officials who have as much honesty, integrity, or ability as does a political commentator who is the child of immigrant parents. Yes that’s right, she’s a first generation U.S. citizen with more concern for this nation & intimate knowledge of it’s constitutional challenges than most of the current old guard in Washington could even shake a stick at.

We have got to give these apparently spoiled children of Democracy a wake up call, & by passing spoiled children the mighty scepter of bureaucracy, we are doing them & ourselves a grave injustice.

I do not hate the Republican party. No, rather I’m a Loving student of it’s teachings who longs to see his teacher sober again. It has become drunken on the wine of big oil kingdoms, tempted away by the politically rhetorical power of selling false guilt via carbon credits, & fattened by the pork barrel gods who promise them a choice cut of meat, in return for a quiet show of deference.

I would rather die than be a part of this Republican party corruption, & I would rather my soul live than be a part of it’s advancement in it’s current state, so I will hold my ground until 2012, & in the meantime, I will campaign for sanity along Congressional lines.

I hope that some will hear my call to political arms, & will make their voices heard through the peaceful protest against the drunken stupor of our once Conservative fathers in the Republican Party.

We Conservatives are not here to compromise, but rather we are here to follow the rules & edicts of God himself for the goodness of mankind. When we take our eyes off of God as a political party, we become a candle in the wind, & a ship without a rudder.

With the lessons of God removed, who will survive? It’s time to put the inflated ego of our party back in check. Removing these thorns in our sides will be painful, but completely necessary. ~Dan Lee
