18 Y/O Kara Kopetsky Still Missing from Missouri, & we need Your Help

Today is Kara’s 18th birthday.

She is not forgotten or abandoned. The search will and does continue. We need anyone’s help and that includes ideas and being alert, as well as listening for and looking for things that may seem unusual and be connected to Kara’s case.

Kara was last seen leaving Belton High School on Friday, May 4th. 2007, In Belton Missouri. She lives close to school and does not have a car. There are no indications that Kara is a runaway. The morning that Kara was last seen, she called her mother and asked her to bring over a textbook she left at home and also asked her to wash her clothes for work that afternoon. Kara did not come home from school that day and did not show up for work that afternoon. Her cell phone was last used at 10:30 am that day. Her ATM card, debit card, and checking account have not been used and her iPod, clothes, and other belongings were all left behind. Friends and classmates confirmed that Kara had been making plans for the weekend and the following weekend as well.

Kara is 5′5″ with brown hair and hazel eyes and weighs approximately 125 lbs. She has dyed her hair different colors in the past and no longer has braces, as seen in some of her older photos. She was last seen wearing a white and blue polka dot shirt and jeans.

A $25,000 reward, established through the donations of private citizens and businesses, is set for information that leads to locating Kara and bringing her home.
