Looks like Obama by a Nose… Oh, & a Head, Shoulders & Torso too…
I was hoping that Black Voters would stand up for their guy seeing as how the Clinton’s pulled out the Ugly card right after N.H.
Bill Clinton recently predicted that Blacks would vote for Obama in S.C. & Women would vote for Hillary, but didn’t explain why he thought that was, thus leaving he & Hillary once again open to the criticism of being “Race Baiters” & “Gender Baiters.”
Unfortunately for Hillary it gave a bad impression to black & white voters alike. Was Clinton implying that Blacks are too shallow minded & racist themselves to vote for a white man? Maybe he wasn’t, but that’s the appearance he gave when he made this statement without explaining it. Or maybe he just knew that Hillary’s campaign deserved it after she minimized the accomplishments of MLK, & released a statement saying that; “Obama hadn’t done the necessary SPADEWORK to be president.”
Whatever you believe, you can’t blame blacks for being suspicious of his motives given the lack of explaination, & for sending a message to Hillary Clinton in SC, by voting for Barack Obama.
In any case, it’s good that people voted for the candidate that’s clearly been more honest. I am not an Obama supporter by any stretch of the imagination, but I do respect him for beiig both pretty consistent on his positions, & for taking the smear tactics of Clinton Inc. with absolute dignity. I think that’s paying off for him now, & if there is justice in the world Obama should have a fair shot at going into the ring with our conservative candidate, for a fair fight based on issues & not race.
In South Carolina, Obama has basically handed Clinton her ass in a bag & said “have a nice day Maam..” Good for him.. She & her husband are some of the most dirty politicians of modern times, & this country doesn’t need them. He’s running a clean campaign & taking the high road, & I hope this gives him the momentum he needs to win the Nomination. At the time of this writing, the reporting precincts has him at having received 54% of the South Carolina vote.
I hear she’s headed up here to Nashville now.. I gotta go find some Holy water & a box of wooden stakes (just in case.)
